Measure These Seven Values
- Opening width (clear, three points)
- Opening height (clear, two points)
- Headroom above the opening
- Side room, both sides
- Door type area depth (for vertical lift)
- Floor levelness at the threshold
- Wall construction at the fixing line
Common Mistakes
Measuring to the frame instead of the clear opening, ignoring floor slope, and forgetting services (pipes, conduits) in the headroom zone.
